themselves to undermine the Islamic beliefs, values and rules so to make it palatable to their
egotistic minds and the secular liberal thoughts.

"The Ground Zero Mosque: The Second Wave of the 911 Attacks"

Furor over the so-called "Ground Zero Mosque" has long since died down, but a group of conservatives has refused to let the issue drop.

A new movie titled "The Ground Zero Mosque: The Second Wave of the 911 Attacks" is set to premier at the 2011 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), and it hopes to put the planned Park51 Islamic cultural center back in the spotlight.

Two groups that underwrote the film, Stop Islamization of America (SIOA) and American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI), describe it as a "documentary."

A poster for the movie includes a large image of the World Trade Center at the moment it was hit by the second airplane to meet its target during in the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

"The Ground Zero Mosque has become a watershed issue in our effort to raise awareness of and ultimately halt and roll back the advance of Islamic law and Islamic supremacism in America," AFDI/SOIA director Pamela Geller said in a statement.

She continued: "This is the first documentary that tells the whole truth about the Ground Zero mosque. Be prepared to be shaken to your core. This movie rips the mask off the enemedia and the malevolent role they play in advancing and propagandizing the objectives of America's mortal enemies."

The movie is said to feature prominent conservatives like BigGovernment.com's Andrew Breitbart, radio talk show host Mike Gallagher, and President George W. Bush's former United Nations Ambassador John Bolton.

"It's enlightening, engrossing, and rousing," Geller promised. "[A]bove all, 'The Ground Zero Mosque: The Second Wave of the 9/11 Attacks' is a teaching tool. This film is perfect for showing your skeptical friends and family what we're really up against, and explaining to them how and why we must fight back."

"So the conservative movement's premier conference will include a strategy session where participants will figure out how to prevent the lawful construction of a religious structure," The Atlantic's Andrew Sullivan noted. "And they'll doubtless talk about their fealty to the Constitution and their love of freedom while doing so."

Plans for the cultural center were largely ignored when The New York Times first reported about it in December 2009.

The project received wider notice in May 2010 when a community board considered the construction plans. Geller and fellow conservative blogger Robert Spencer dubbed the proposed center the "Ground Zero Mosque," which started a national controversy.

The Muslim Imam behind the "Ground Zero Mosque," Feisal Abdul Rauf, advised US investigators on counter-terrorism issues in 2003. He was also active in the Aspen Institute's cross-faith cooperation initiatives, encouraging a more substantial duologue between Christians, Muslims and Jews.
