In recent times a plethora of misconceptions, misrepresentation and myths have been forged about Islam
and Muslims. Many western influentials from politicians, policymakers to judges have taken it upon
themselves to undermine the Islamic beliefs, values and rules so to make it palatable to their
egotistic minds and the secular liberal thoughts.

This blog is dedicated:-

1. To argue the point for Islam in its belief and systems and to refute the misconceptions.
2. To expose the weakness and contradictions of all forms of secularism.

Event Pictures: Bangladesh, what happened?

On Saturday 7th March 2009 Muslim Community Representatives Camden & Islington hosted the Bangladesh, What Happened? Special meeting at King's Cross Neighbourhood Centre.

The invited guests who participated in the meeting included Masjid Imam's, Masjid Committee Members, Community Elders, Young People, Councillor's, School Governors.

Over 50 people packed the venue to hear Mujibul Islam, Bangla Media Representative of Hizb ut-Tahrir, deliver a speech on the background to events that lead to the massacre of the Army Officers. He also referred to Bangladesh's 38 year history to show that as a country Bangladesh has always been influenced by external forces and never been self sufficient. Mujibul Islam went on to say how Bangladesh as a country has the resources, manpower etc, but needs a new leadership to make Bangladesh prosper.

The event concluded with a lively and passionate question and answer.

We hope very much that everyone who attended enjoyed the event and went away with a clearer understanding and consideration needed when contemplating on the situation of Bangladesh which it now faces.

This event was not a one off event in the future more events like this will be done on a monthly basis on a variety of subject matters.
